Position Overview:
Parents Anonymous® Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and culturally responsive Vice President of Finance and Operations. The Vice President serves as an Executive Team Leader overseeing fiscal systems and operations supporting the delivery of Evidence-Based Parents Anonymous® Programs to ensure well-being and family strengthening for diverse Parents, Children and Youth nationwide. The Vice President of Finance and Administration is responsible for fiscal and administration management for the financial transactions and reporting, record-keeping, accounting, compliance with governmental accounting, billing and administers the Agency's budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, manages, and monitors the development and administration of the Agency's annual budget; directs the forecast of additional funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; directs the monitoring of revenue and approves expenditures; directs and implements adjustments as necessary including all Program Budgets in compliance with funding requirements and deliverables.
- Create forecast of revenues and utilization plans to operate and manage the LA County Legal Entity Contract.
- Serve on Executive Team to monitor and ensure all billings meet goals for the LA Department of Mental Health Legal Entity Contract through Electronic Health Records System: Carelogic.
- Oversee all financial functions for the organization including payables, receivables, and allocation and billing for each Grants and Contract.
- Recruit, supervise, train and evaluate the Director of Finance and Nonprofit Accountant.
- Develop and oversee the administration of all Fiscal Procedures and management of all purchases and reimbursements through Zoho.
- Responsible for producing Financial Statements, Cash Glow Reports and Grant and Contract Expenditures and Revenue Projections to meet the Annual Budget.
- Plans, manages, and oversees the daily functions, operations, and activities of the Agency's payroll, GAAP, internal controls, program budgeting, finance and accounting functions, including preparing, monitoring, forecasting, and analyzing financial information, financial processing, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Develops and standardizes procedures and methods to improve and continuously monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of assigned programs, service delivery methods, and procedures; identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations to the CEO to maximize resources and cash flow.
- Develops, manages and monitors all Operations activities including building maintenance, equipment leases, office management and supplies, cleaning services and other administrative functions to support al of program operations at Headquarters and three other office locations.
- Utilize Smartsheet to document all responsibilities, deliverables, results, and timelines to achieve S.M.A.R.T. Parents Anonymous® operations.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred in accounting or business.
- 10 years of relevant non-profit accounting and administration experience is required.
- Must have experience working in a non-profit accounting system
- Must have well-developed computer skills.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus.

- Must be culturally responsive, responsible, and seek assistance from supervisor when work challenges arise.
- Must have a smartphone. Must have a working vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
