Sheltering Arms Institute is currently seeking a talented Recruiter/HR Business Partner to join our team. The incumbent will partner designated client groups to understand business needs and manage high-volume, full life-cycle recruitment, including monitoring market trends and leading the development of strategies to attract top talent. While recruiting is the primary responsibility of this position, the incumbent will have the opportunity to get involved in other areas of HR including partnering with designated client groups to provide support in employee relations, performance management, policy development and employment law.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage full life-cycle recruiting for assigned groups including sourcing, screening, offers, on-boarding and compliance
- Understand the ongoing hiring needs of the business and establish the right sourcing mix to generate a strong pool of talent
- Design and conduct engaging talent outreach campaigns, conducting proactive candidate searches and building talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in recruitments ensuring an excellent new hire experience
- Ensure HR systems maintain integrity and data accuracy, including accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and make recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement
- May coordinate, schedule and conduct new employee on-boarding, training and orientations
- Support the execution of the performance management process
- Provide advice and consultation to employees and management, to include coaching and counseling on performance issues, conflict management, and interpretation of employment policies
- Act as a resource to other team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
Successful candidates will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 6+ years of experience in Human Resources, including 4+ years with high volume, full life-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and a high level of change
- Proven experience using a variety of sourcing channels, tools and platforms to identify and engage candidates
- Able to adapt to changing hiring needs, priorities, and market conditions while maintaining a proactive and results-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills; able to partner with employees at all levels of the organization
- Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, applicant tracking and HRIS systems
- HR certification is preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred
