Job Title- PT FACULTY-ADJUNCT RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY (Pool)
Position Status- Part Time
Classification Title- PT Adjunct Faculty/Lab Instructor
Work Location- Main Campus-3600 N. Garfield, Midland TX
Job Summary- Instruct assigned courses effectively. Participate in the development and review of the curriculum. Adjunct Faculty are hired on an as-needed basis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Texas Medical Board General Radiologic Technologist license
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Commitment to diversity, academic excellence, and exceptional service
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology
- Teaching experience
- Knowledge of Canvas or other instructional technology
Essential Functions
- Prepare and deliver instruction to students in accordance with the course syllabus and College policy
- Provide regular and timely evaluation feedback to students
- Post grades in Canvas in a timely manner
- Assign grades consistent with course requirements
- Submit final grades by the established deadline
- Maintain HIPAA and FERPA standards
- Communicate regularly with students and College officials, including responding to e-mails, calls, and requests for meetings
- Participate in assessment
- Cooperate with the program director in periodic review and revision of course materials
- Maintain ARRT certification
- Submit required reports and forms
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
- The ability to perform work in a classroom and office setting
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Use of manual dexterity
- Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds
- Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
- Standard classroom environment
Security Sensitivity- All Midland College positions are security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information. An employment offer is contingent on completion of a satisfactory criminal background investigation.
Min Salary- $560.00 per lab hour
Max Salary- $825.00 per lecture hour
