Diesel Mechanic, Adjunct Faculty - Continuing Education

Class Description

Teach diesel mechanics part time.

1.       Develop non-credit curricula as directed.

2.       Maintain currency in field and relevant licensure/certification through professional development and scholar activities.

3.       Attend department meetings, participate in college/community service and be available to students outside of class.

4.       Teaching classes in any or all variations of the Diesel Mechanic non-credit sections.


Campus locations: Off-site 

Minimum Requirements

Prior experience teaching/training in Diesel mechanics, preferably at the post-secondary level and three years of full-time diesel mechanic related work experience.  Or Associates Degree and one year of full-time diesel mechanic related work experience.  ASE A1-A8 and L1 certification and additional ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
