Product Line Manager, Principal - DMHC Undertakings

Your Role
The Product Line Manager, Principal will be responsible for ensuring Blue Shield of California's compliance with the detailed undertakings set forth by the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC). This role will focus on managing all aspects of reporting, analysis, and compliance related to the undertakings, ensuring that Blue Shield meets all regulatory requirements and standards. The Product Line Manager, Principal will report to the Senior Manager.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Health, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced graduate degree (e.g. MBA) is highly desirable
- Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience in product management, compliance, or a related field within the healthcare industry
- Requires strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decisions
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including DMHC requirements, network adequacy standards, and timely access compliance strongly preferred
- Proficiency with reporting and analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI preferred
- Proven experience in managing complex projects, including data analysis, reporting, and compliance initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the organization and with external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $ 145970.00 to $ 218900.00 for California.

Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
