The Human Resource Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource function. As the HR Manager, you will be a key member of the leadership team and have a direct impact on overall strategy and planning of the organization.
Other responsibilities of this position include:
- Serves as the HR Leader, guiding policy and procedures to support the strategic vision for the organization.
- Ensures that proper compliance is followed, including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and worker's compensation.
- Initiates and maintains Health Center provider credentials
- Supports the Recruiter with new employee orientation and onboarding process.
- Guides managers in the performance review process.
- Administers employee benefits program, annual open enrollment process, and maintains benefit enrollment changes.
- Supports the Recruiter and hiring managers with recruitment, interviewing, and selecting applicants.
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance.
- Coordinates or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind turnover.
- Helps to resolve employee issues and concerns by providing training, support, and conflict resolution.
- Supports managers and employees with employee relations issues.
- Maintain all HR files and recordkeeping requirements to ensure compliance.
- Supervise the staff of the human resources department.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience in Human Resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources required, Masters degree preferred
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SPHR credential preferred
- Proven experience in promoting an engaging and positive organizational culture
- Ability to build positive working relationships with diverse levels of employees
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred).
