Messiah Lifeways is a non-profit organization headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA, that provides a network of services for adults 55 and better living in South Central PA. Our roots trace back to 1896, when the Brethren in Christ Church founded Messiah Home in Harrisburg, PA to serve older adults with Christ-like love.

If so, you would be an ideal candidate to become our Talent Acquisition Manager. In this role, you would be our strategist that plays an integral role in managing full cycle recruitment (sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding) for our continuously growing organization. This person would be responsible for managing our talent team, and staying “in the know” of market trends and data that would support our efforts in hiring and retaining qualified team members. This position works during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm). This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

What You’ll Do
- Be able to assess current recruitment practices, modify and implement new strategies with the goal of attracting and retaining top talent
- Collaborate with our team leaders and support them by identifying team needs,
- Supervise and develop initiatives for our Recruitment team, providing coaching and mentoring when needed
- Lead and/or support all full cycle recruitment efforts (sourcing, reviewing applicants, interviewing, checking references, and presenting offers)
- Build and manage relationships with community partners (colleges and universities, career resource centers, vocational and technical schools) to develop and maintain recruitment pipeline
- Schedule and attend career fairs and other career focused interests events as needed
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders through all stages of the recruitment process
- Partner with the Onboarding Coordinator to ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding and orientation
- Utilize HR analytics to track and analyze KPIs related to talent acquisition and retention
- Present reports and findings to team leaders, make data - driven recommendations for improvement
- Effectively manages budget and makes cost effective decisions based on professional experience and data
- Leveraging social media platforms to build upon our community branding
What Else You Should Know
- A minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience in a high volume recruitment setting; experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
- A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience; volunteer and intern management experience will be considered
- Working knowledge of human resources Information Systems (HRIS), applicant tracking systems (Paycom experience preferred), and other similar software tools
- Demonstrates high emotional intelligence
- Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite
- Exhibits strong program management and time management capabilities
- Knowledge of best practices and legal requirements related to full cycle recruitment and retention
