The successful candidate will work with Assoc Prof LAM Yulin on synthesis of potential anti-hepatitis B agents under a project on "Achieving Functional Cure of Chronic Hepatitis B".
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Design and synthesis of potential anti-hepatitis B agents
- Laboratory safety
- Sharing of duties on lab house-keeping
Qualifications
- Qualifications / Discipline: PhD in Chemistry or related fields
- Skills: Organic synthesis, compound characterization
- Experience: Experience and interested in the design and synthesis of therapeutic agents
