Job Description
DESCRIPTIONUnder general supervision of OR leadership. Responsible for set up, maintenance, and cleaning operating room equipment; delivers and retrieves equipment, assuring equipment is available and in good condition at all times; maintains appropriate supply inventory for items such as OR solutions, personal protective equipment, and gas tanks for surgical procedures.Supports Clinical workflow through pick-up and transport of conscious, semi-conscious, and/or unconscious patients between treatment areas and nursing units via wheelchair, gurney, or bed. Lifting, positioning, and transferring patients requiring moderate to total assistance. Performs all other duties as assigned.

- 1 year of hospital inpatient experience
- BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART w/in 6 months of hire date
- Effective written and oral communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and able to push/ pull a gurney or bed with patients weighing up to 300 pounds.
- Experience working in an acute care equipment management environment
- Operating room setting experience.
- Experience as an OR Assistant
- High School/GED
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Must be willing to work overtime weekends, holidays, and take CALL as needed to meet the business needs of the department.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $60,990 - $60,990 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $29.21 - $29.21
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
