KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Opportunity Engagement Set-Up to join our Advisory organization.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support assigned opportunities throughout their life cycle, including engagement set-up, obtain necessary reports, create quotes/pricing workbooks, inform coordinators of required codes, keep pursuit teams informed, learn service offerings; identify and resolve issues, becoming a subject matter resource; facilitate assessment and evolution processes
- Build relationships with pursuit teams and understand their service lines
- Preserve all assigned opportunities, directly contribute to pipeline health which includes weekly review of potentially stale opportunities, outreach to appropriate partners and managing directors to obtain updates and update opportunities in Engage/Launchpad
- Serve as a subject matter resource for the firm's opportunity, pricing, risk management systems, and deal review boards including, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Pricing tool and Client/Engagement Acceptance Set-Up (CLEAS)
- Participate in developing best practices for the Opportunity Engagement Set-Up (OES) team in conjunction with Senior Associate OES, the Manager OES and / or Director of Operations; participate actively in weekly and monthly team calls
- Sign-up to support and actively participate in any number of special projects
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of recent combined experience in areas such as administrative, legal, finance, business development, project management and client service experience; work experience within a professional services firm or similar environment is preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business, or equivalent experience is required;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including, Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with software applications and systems of the firm, including Salesforce, Pricing tool, Sentinel and CLEAS preferred; experience using internet research tools and database management
- Strong time management skills and the aptitude to effectively manage stakeholder expectations; highly skilled in critical thinking and analytical problem solving, with a proven ability to tackle complex challenges and offer effective solutions
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, allowing for proactive task and project management, as well as stakeholder engagement; demonstrate the ability to exercise independent judgment in making day-to-day decisions in formulating solutions to problems
- Some travel may be required, and general workday sometimes exceeds a 9:00am-5:00 pm local time workday, possibly resulting in some weekend coverage
