Job Description
This is a full time position with 12-hour Day shifts, floating between our Scripps Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista Hospitals. Includes $4,000 retention incentive and $3,000 relocation assistance for eligible new hires.

Supporting excellence in patient and family-centered care, the Site Based Float Pool provides critical nursing support to our MedSurg Tele Units at the Scripps Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista hospitals.

As a Registered Nurse working in the Float Pool at Scripps Health Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista, you'll join a team of skilled medical professionals who provide superior health services in a caring environment.
The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:
- Internal candidates
- Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
- Candidates with less than 1 year of experience
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
- Active California RN license
- American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Certifications
- 1 year of recent adult RN experience
- Must be willing to float to other units
- Be able to speak, read and following instructions in English
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Previous acute care experience
