Job Summary
The University of Michigan is seeking a Director of Insurance and Claims Administration, reporting to the Assistant Vice President & Treasurer, responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce risks associated with university operations and activities, providing continuous support to stakeholders in the identification and selection of techniques to manage risks, managing all property and casualty insurance programs, managing the administration of self-insurance structures including a captive insurance company, managing the integrated disability management and children on campus programs, and representing the University to internal and external groups including underwriters, and support organizations and community members.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday. As part of the University of Michigan Finance Division's Future of Work initiative, this position may work onsite or hybrid (both onsite work and remotely) based on the business needs of the position.
Modes of Work
