Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The Division of Student Affairs is responsible for programs, services, and resources designed to promote the learning and development, engagement, belonging, and health and well-being of students. The Division ensures the availability of a rich co-curricular experience for students, supports and enriches the University’s educational mission, and works to effectively meet the needs of a diverse student population and workforce.
The Director of Finance & Business Services has four major roles. First, the Director provides internal coordination and support for the 16 departments in the division of over 2,000 staff, a $240 million budget, and 3.6 million square feet of space. This includes coordinating major financial activities, chairing the business officers group, leading the divisional implementation of the Workday ERP financial and budget systems, and supporting human resource and procurement operational processes. Second, this role supports the Vice President and senior leadership, including providing all-funds reports, analyses, trends, fund balances, and assessing the fiscal health of operations. Third, the Director represents the Division with institution-level finance and business leadership, building effective relationships and creating strong lines of communication. Finally, this role directly supports the finance, human resource, and business services for the Divisional units on the 2nd floor of the Clarence Mitchell building and will supervise a new position to assist in this support. Units include the Vice President’s Office, Dean of Students, Office of Student Conduct, Development & External Relations, and Parent & Family Affairs with 35 staff and a $10M budget.

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $145,000 – $160,000
