- Duration: This assignment will run for approximately 6 Months.
- Compensation and Benefits: $38.73 - $51.12 / Hour, including paid holidays and vacation/sick leave. Full-medical insurance also available.
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Location: This position will have a hybrid schedule. On-site days will be located in Hillcrest.
TES has an opening for an Integrative Nutrition Dietitian.
Through experience in integrative nutrition, holistic health, functional nutrition, and/or natural medicine, this position will serve as an expert-level Integrative Nutrition Dietitian for a large specialized area. The incumbent will provide guidance and direction to Dietitians, Dietetic technicians and will mentor Dietetic interns and students.
By applying professional knowledge, the Integrative Nutrition Dietitian will have operational responsibility for integrative nutrition one-on-one services, group nutrition, and cooking classes. They will also function in an academic setting, conducting teaching and research to enhance clinical nutrition services. This position will serve as a designated nutrition and diet specialist for nutrition projects and clinical care.
QUALIFICATIONSLicensed Registered Dietitian in the state of California.
Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
One (1) to Five (5) years of relevant experience.
Master's degree in a relevant field, preferred.
A background check is required.A medical screening may be required.
This position has been identified as a Mandated Reporter pursuant to the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA) and requires immediate reporting of physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, or neglect of anyone under the age of 18. It is the responsibility of the Mandated Reporter to ensure that they obtain proper training in order to fulfill their reporting responsibilities as required by the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and University policy, and to complete and submit the required reports to the UC San Diego Police Department without delay.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $80,883 - $106,759 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $38.74 - $51.13
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
