- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on both cloud-based (Azure, AWS) and on-premises networking.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Profound knowledge of virtual networking and cloud services, including setup, management, and optimization of cloud-based networks.
- Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and network architecture principles.
- Strong experience with network security practices, including firewall management and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Obtain TS/SCI clearance.
Preferences:
- Relevant certifications in Azure or AWS cloud technologies, network security (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP).
- Prior experience in cybersecurity research or related projects.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience in network automation through scripting or programming.
- Have an Active TS/SCI clearance
