Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: Designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications and frameworks, participating in architecture and code reviews, helping to prioritize features and bug fixes, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams at Apple, leading in the pursuit and delivery of the best possible product.
- Deep hands-on experience in designing, building, delivering, and maintaining critical production-grade software
- Experience in leading complex projects
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and thorough in every undertaking
- Excellent problem solving, critical/analytical thinking, and communication skills
- Systems knowledge, hands-on experience with inter-process communication
- Ability to operate comfortably and effectively in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience developing software with C or C++
- System Software Design experience
- Experience building high traffic system frameworks and related infrastructure
- You have experience optimizing applications and profiling throughout the stack
- You are upbeat, adaptable, and results oriented with a positive attitude
- Fantastic attention to detail
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
