Perkins Coie is seeking a qualified, dynamic candidate to take on the role of Matter Mobility Reviewer who will work under the direction of the Information Governance Manager. The Matter Mobility Reviewer will be responsible for the review of physical and electronic documents related to outgoing matters transfers according to established guidelines and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform substantive reviews of physical and electronic documents for outgoing file transfers according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Proactively maintain an overview of workload; anticipate next steps and implement follow-up procedures to ensure each task is appropriately tracked and carried through to completion.
- Escalate issues involving the content of client files to Professional Standards.
- Coordinate with and take direction from the Information Governance team regarding assignments, deadlines, and prioritization of work.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and establish effective working relationships throughout operational groups.
- Excellent organizational skills for prioritizing workload and adjusting to shifting priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail, exercise discretion, and maintain extreme focus.
- Good knowledge of standard business computing environment and basic office equipment, including familiarity with network file shares and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to quickly master new software.
SPECIFIC SKILLS PREFERRED
- Knowledge of client file management in a law firm environment.
- Understanding of legal terminology and procedures pertinent to the area of assignment.
- Previous document review experience preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree or minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience. Those with a Paralegal Certificate are preferred.

San Francisco Bay Area compensation range: $66,250 to $95,660 annually
Colorado compensation range: $51,900 to $74,950 annually
Los Angeles compensation range: $60,440 to $87,280 annually
San Diego compensation range: $59,680 to $86,180 annually
New York compensation range: $60,230 to $86,970 annually
Washington state compensation range: $54,750 to $79,060annually
Washington, D.C., compensation range: $59,130 to $85,380 annually
