Job Description
OverviewVTG is hiring for multiple Engineering Technician V supporting Navy CETS program at North Island, CA that will be responsible for providing technical advice for either Avionics or Airframes and assistance on the acceptance, installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of the assigned weapons systems and associated support equipment for V-22 and H1. Functions as a technical expert on assigned systems.
What will you do?
- Provide technical advice and assistance on the acceptance, installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of the assigned weapons systems and associated support equipment.
- Functions as a technical expert on assigned systems. Provides both formal and on-the-job training for personnel engaged in the operation, maintenance, or installation of these systems. Discusses problems encountered and explains corrective action.
- Monitors operation, maintenance, and installation techniques and procedures, providing timely advice, assistance, and instruction.
- Demonstrates operation and maintenance procedures as necessary.
Do you have what it takes?
- At least five (5) years practical hands on experience within the last seven (7) years in direct support of V-22 or H1 maintenance.
- Must have completed a Navy "A" and "C" schools or service equivalent school, or Accredited Vocational Education Institutions training programs related to the system(s)/equipment being supported, or an OEM/Factory Technical training programs related to the system(s)/equipment being supporting the V-22/C-130/H-1
VTG's base pay range is $39.50 per hour which is a general guideline for the California geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or market considerations.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
