The Role

As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a HRIS Analyst to support our Global Human Resources team. The HRIS Analyst plays an essential role in supporting the success of our Company's utilization of Workday.

The ideal candidate will assist in analyzing and enhancing an intricate configuration of multiple Workday modules spanning over many countries. They will independently own task execution, in addition to supporting team efforts around system upgrades, testing, documentation. This position is remote eligible! If you happen to live close to one of our sites, you will have the opportunity to visit our offices (San Diego, Ca, Raritan, NJ, or Rochester, NY).

The Responsibilities

  • Provide support to HRIS team including troubleshooting, analyzing, identifying, and correcting technical problems and deficiencies.
  • Help maintain data integrity in the system.
  • Handle technical escalations from the HR Operations team; partner with specialist groups, vendors, and other parties to resolve issues.
  • Support the Organization with the testing of new features and functionalities throughout the year and during scheduled Workday updates.
  • Handle difficult retroactive and manual transactions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert regarding back-end data/position/organization management processes within the HR systems (e.g., Workday.)
  • Develop and provide access to reports, assist in creation of report library.
  • Assure consistency of key performance indicators; data formatting, and related reporting and analytics practices and protocols.
  • Be an active advocate for Workday, monitoring new and future functionality which can help solve existing business needs.
  • Challenge the status quo, collaborating to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Educate employees of system/data standards and best practices.
  • Identify and solve problems - collaborating with internal teams and vendor as appropriate.
  • Be innovative, offering insights and recommendations for improvement opportunities.
  • Advise and inform requestors about prioritization of requests through established clear communication.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years minimum Workday Administration or HR Service Center Role, supporting Workday with advanced troubleshooting.
  • 2+ years of HRIS or comparable experience in roles of increasing responsibility required.
  • Experience configuring or providing Issue support for multiple Workday modules.
  • Experience with data manipulation and system documentation.
  • Experience with Workday delivered reporting tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft tools and applications.
  • Sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution.

Preferred:

  • Experience as lead/owner of system functionality.
  • Basic to advanced working knowledge of Workday security.
  • Experience working with a shared service center environment and case management tools, such as Workday Help.

The Key Working Relationships

Internal Partners:

  • People & Culture, IT, Finance and Legal to understand business needs and functions to respond to changing business needs.
  • P&C Functional Leaders regularly to identify improvements and reporting/metrics that will help support the business and drive decision making.
  • HR liaison with IS for HRIS or HR technology related matters.
  • Works across all levels of the organization.

External Partners:

  • Workday partners.
  • Vendors.

The Work Environment

No strenuous physical activity, though occasional light lifting of files and related materials is required. 30% of time in meetings, working with team, or talking on the phone, 70% of the time at the desk on computer, doing analytical work. Minimal travel required. Travel includes airplane, automobile travel and overnight hotel.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time), and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
