Job Description
Your Role As a Gensler Design Director, you are responsible for leading a collaborative, creative team and providing design leadership on architecture projects. You have a portfolio that includes innovative multi-scale life science core & shell design projects with an emphasis on built work. Use your unique design perspective to bring new approaches to design process and strategy, develop next-generation talent, and help our clients redesign what's possible. What You Will Do Lead the creative efforts on client architecture projects, developing overall design concepts and design presentation strategies Act as the primary design interface with clients and consultants, representing Gensler at meetings and presentations Mentor and develop Gensler designers; provide creative direction to design teams Collaborate with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy Participate in business development and marketing efforts Your Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited school of design or architecture 12+ years of professional experience Licensed Architect Experience leading design teams through all phases of the design process LEED accreditation, preferred Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills Proficient in Revit and other computer design programs (AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) **The base salary will be estimated between $120k - 150k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience Life at Gensler At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
