- Provide project engineering and utility coordination with a focus
- on transportation projects and public transportation clients throughout the Southern California Region. Anticipated work
- tasks may include; develop utility basemaps, coordinate with utility owners and agencies, develop relocation strategies,
- assist in preparation of cost estimates, preparation of engineering plans, specification for utility relocations, and data analytics such as GIS and Power BI. Will work
- independently as well as assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/
- task. Will be involved in highway and railroad utility design and plans production for utility owners and Municipal clients.
- Perform other duties as needed
Keyword(s): Utility, EIT, Engineer, Utility Coordination, roadway, railroad, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE).
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
- Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Familiaritywith MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience withcivil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and/or AutodeskInfraworks and Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows) asrequired
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
