The Center for Digital Humanities (CDH) is seeking a post-doctoral scholar to support its mission to serve as a digital humanities hub for the state of Mississippi. This grant-funded position, renewable up to three years, will focus on planning and creating materials for a series of digital humanities summer workshops and creating web-based pedagogical tools for secondary and college educators.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and prepare lessons, training guides, and materials for a series of three summer workshops hosted by the CDH. These workshops will be geared towards higher-education faculty, undergraduate students, and secondary-education teachers from across Mississippi.
• Train student workers, staff, and faculty to teach and support these workshops.
• Assist with the development and support of funded DH scholarship, both at USM and at partner institutions across the state, including teaching workshops on digitization, digital humanities, and DH pedagogy.
• Adhere to CDH and university policies, procedures, and regulations, and perform other duties as assigned.
