Police Officer -full-time & part-time
The Town of East Bend, population 612, located in northeastern Yadkin County, is seeking qualified applicants for full-time and part-time positions. Applicants must have a valid N.C. driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, and N.C. Basic Law Enforcement Training certification. Successful applicants must be of good moral character, complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and psychological testing.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responds to calls, including domestic disputes, assaults, burglaries, traffic accidents, lost or missing persons searches, public services, stranded motorists, and others.
- Conducts preliminary inquiries, field interviews, and follow-up investigation to include interviewing victims.
- Gathering information and evidence and securing the crime scene.
- Provides first aid to victims as necessary and assists motorists
- Inspects and maintains patrol car.
- Preforms other related duties as assigned.
