Department Summary

The Department of Management provides quality management education leading to baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degrees. The department also conducts relevant basic and applied research, engages in instructional development and provides professional expertise and service to the department’s constituent communities. We believe in the importance of teaching, supported by intellectual contributions and service.

Position Overview

The Department of Management seeks qualified individuals for its adjunct instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester depending on department teaching needs.

The ability and willingness to teach in person at the Denton or Frisco campus is valued. We also often have online sections available for adjuncts.

We anticipate having need for adjuncts in courses such as International Management, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, and Human Resource Management.

Minimum Qualifications

A graduate degree with a minimum of 18 credits in the topic area. A terminal degree is required to teach graduate level courses.

Preferred Qualifications

A terminal degree in business or a related field from an accredited institution is desired to teach MBA courses. A MBA degree or a degree in a closely related field is desired to teach undergraduate courses.
