The Graphic Design Intern for Youth Agriculture Programs will assist in the creation of visually engaging materials to support educational initiatives targeted at youth. This role involves collaborating with the program team to design promotional materials, educational resources, and digital content that enhance the visibility and impact of agriculture-based programs. The intern will gain hands-on experience in graphic design while contributing to meaningful projects that promote agricultural literacy and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities include design digital and print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, and newsletters to promote youth agriculture programs. Develop visually appealing educational resources, including infographics, worksheets, and presentations. Assist in the creation of branding materials to maintain a consistent visual identity across all program materials.

This position will work closely with the Program Manager and team members to understand design needs and project objectives. Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas. Communicate effectively to ensure that design projects meet the program’s goals and deadlines. The intern will assist in developing visual content for social media platforms to engage with the community and promote program activities, create graphics and visuals for website updates and online campaigns and support the implementation of digital marketing strategies to increase program visibility.

Minimum Experience/Education
- Three years of high school and a proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
