Summary

Neighbor 2 Neighbor (N2N) empowers residents and neighborhood organizations with the tools they need to preserve and enhance the quality of life within their communities. We are seeking an Executive Director who is passionate about community development and dedicated to driving positive change. Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to identify, create, and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Executive strategies and plans adopted by N2N’s Board of Directors.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a talented team of staff capable of leading critical departments and managing strategic functions.
  • Oversee all matters related to staff performance, including evaluation, discipline, and assignment.
  • Structure administrative functions to efficiently achieve organizational goals.
  • Foster an organizational culture of transparency and collaboration.
  • Support the board to engage, recruit, and retain top talent. Ensure evaluation and development of staff.
  • Provide timely and necessary organizational information for board to make strategic decisions.

Business Operations

  • Execute the annual conference and annual fundraising events.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within the organization and its environment to protect business interests.
  • Ensure the selection of qualified vendors and consultants and manage relationships where appropriate.
  • Inform the Board of Directors promptly of significant events likely to impact the organization’s finances or operations.
  • Monitor organization operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Manage all internal operations and day-to-day functions of the organization.
  • Structure the administrative functions to effectively achieve N2N’s goals.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage the organization’s resources.

Community Engagement and Fundraising

  • Develop marketing materials and campaigns to engage and inform neighbors, stakeholders, and supporters.
  • Identify potential sources of funding and lead fundraising efforts for individual donors, corporate organizations and grantors.
  • Represent the organization at social and corporate events, strengthening the brand and communicating our message effectively.
  • Develop and manage key relationships on behalf of N2N.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Three to five years of senior nonprofit management experience.
  • Active fundraising experience with a proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies.
  • Event execution experience (conferences and fundraisers preferred)
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision-making, and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking ability.
  • Transparent and high-integrity leadership style.
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors.
  • High-level strategic thinking and planning abilities.

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is between $80,000-$85,000 annually, with generous PTO and Paid Holidays.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
