Job Title: Applied Service Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide technical support to Mesa's large tonnage chiller accounts.
2. Support the office with recommended repairs from delivery to completion.
3. Availability for emergency service calls "on-call" thru normal rotation.
4. Ensure completion of maintenances within the scheduled month and allotted time.
5. Perform quality checks on Service technicians that are part of the team. Report exceptions to the Field Superintendent/Service Manager.
6. Attend monthly Safety/Team meetings that keep Service Technicians informed on policy and procedures, performance and goals of the company.
7. Manage two-hour rule and communication with Dispatcher and customers when approaching maximum trouble shoot time.
8. Ensure compliance for safety policies and procedures.
9. Ensure that all quotes provided to your customers are followed up on.
10. Work directly with Chiller Field Supervisor on new and existing customer opportunities or issues.

Qualifications

1. Extensive HVAC large tonnage field knowledge with minimum 3-5 years service field experience.
2. OEM Experience or Factory Training is a plus
3. Extensive Safety knowledge and training with minimum 5 years field experience.
4. Effective oral and written communication skills.
5. Strong computer skills a plus.
6. Ability to organize and plan daily responsibilities effectively.
