Geospatial Applications - Adjunct Faculty

Class Description

Adjunct faculty to teach day or evening college credit course on the Catonsville Campus. Adjunct faculty prepare and deliver course material, follow common course outlines and instruction policies, grade, critique and evaluate student work, provide timely and periodic feedback to students, keep and submit accurate classroom records and attend required training and professional development sessions.

Adjunct Level 1 - $1,050 per credit hour. 
 

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Geography, Remote Sensing or Geographic Information Systems including 2 years working with Geospatial Applications
OR 
Bachelor's degree in any major with an Associate's degree in Geospatial Applications with demonstrated experience in the geospatial applications field including 2 years working with Geospatial Applications;
 

  • Demonstrated experience using esri ArcGIS Desktop Suite and ArcGIS Online, ERDAS Imagine, and Trimble GPS equipment and software;
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Experience conducting training or teaching preferred
  • Experience with open source GIS is preferred
  • GISP Certification is a plus
